Our work on the Paris Metro system has included intricate faience work, including this at Stalingrad station in the north of the city. Manufactured by hand-pressing clay into plaster moulds and firing the stoneware 'bisque'. The glazes were then sprayed by hand and weighed for the correct depth of glaze then fired a second time.
