The City of London wanted to replicate etchings, engravings, drawings and lithographic prints of Southwark Bridge onto tiles for their pedestrian underpass (north side) of Southwark Bridge. We drum-scanned the images and manipulated these in-house with a photo-editing programme to fit into traditional Victorian panel layouts that were sympathetic with the originals but looked like traditional 'Delftware' on Victorian square-edge tiles and mouldings with colour variations.
