To overcome budgetary constraints while fulfilling heritage requirements for a British Waterways canalside development at Union Wharf, Market Harborough, Fiori Project Stone was used to match the locally used granite sets and Yorkstone. A Fiori Project Stone that resembles Yorkstone was used to reduce costs while preserving the character of the site. As a result of our extensive contacts and experience we were able to source matching granite and actually had a quarry opened up specially to supply the stone. The granite sets were supplied at half the normal thickness without compromising strength and durability, but allowing a significant saving in the freight, which literally halved the client's costs.
